The Facilities Department encompasses custodial, maintenance, construction, planning and design.
The Facilities Department has the oversight of the Physical Plant, which includes the Custodial and Buildings & Grounds. The Department also manages the Long Range Facility Master Plan (FMP), Physical Plant and building security.
Within the Custodial group are day and night custodians, who are responsible for cleaning, minor maintenance and building security. The Buildings & Grounds group provides carpentry, general building maintenance and small-scale remodeling, custodial coverage, electrical work, grounds care, snow removal, HVAC repair and preventive maintenance.
The goal of the department is to ensure that our facilities are not a distraction to the education and learning that must take place inside our classrooms, and that our buildings are safe for our students and staff.
