KRIS EINCK, superintendent

Hello, my name is Kris Einck, and I am the Superintendent of the Howard-Winneshiek Community School District.  I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University.  I earned my Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership along with my K-12 Principalship from Winona State University.  I received my Superintendency Licensure from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to becoming Superintendent at Howard-Winneshiek, I served in administrative roles as:

  • Superintendent, High School Principal, and Athletic Director at South Winneshiek Community School District in Ossian and Calmar, Iowa.
  • PK-12 Principal and Athletic Director at South Winneshiek Community School District in Ossian and Calmar, Iowa.
  • High School Principal and Athletic Director at Clayton Ridge Community School District in Guttenberg, Iowa. 

Prior to becoming an administrator, I was Assistant Technology Coordinator at the Prairie du Chien Community School District in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin for one year.  Then I taught Agriculture Education at the Riverdale Community School District in Muscoda, Wisconsin for five years.  I was the FFA Advisor and coached football and softball as well.
