About Our Department

Howard-Winneshiek CSD Food Service Department participates in the National School Lunch Program. By facilitating learning through the support and promotion of good nutrition and physical activity, we contribute to the basic health of students. Improved health optimizes student performance potential. Our lunches are nutritious and well balanced staying within the federal guidelines of the meal program.

Check or cash payments can be sent to your child's school or with your student.

Online Payments for lunch fees is available from SchoolPay.

Free & Reduced Lunch Program

Howard-Winneshiek CSD participates in the Free and Reduced Lunch program. Please see below for more information.

Free & Reduced Lunch Program Online Application

If your financial situation changes at anytime throughout a school year you can submit a Free & Reduced Price School Meals Family Application. When students become free or reduced the district office automatically changes the student status in our lunch computer.


Howard-Winn CSD food service department oversees the District's National School Lunch Program, which serves all students K-12 according to federal guidelines.
