Superintendent's Welcome

 

Hello, my name is Kris Einck, and I am the new superintendent of Howard-Winneshiek      Schools.  I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University.  I  earned   my Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership along with my K-12 Principal   from Winona State University.  I received my Superintendency Licensure from the   University of Northern Iowa.


 Prior to becoming superintendent at Howard-Winneshiek, I served in administrative roles as:

  • Superintendent and High School Principal at South Winneshiek School District in Ossian and Calmar, Iowa.
  •  PK-12 Principal at South Winneshiek School District in Ossian and Calmar, Iowa.
  • High School Principal and Athletic Director at Clayton Ridge School District in Guttenberg, Iowa. 

Prior to becoming an administrator, I was assistant technology coordinator at the Prairie du Chien School District in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin for one year.  Then I taught agriculture education at the Riverdale School District in Muscoda, Wisconsin for five years.  I was the FFA advisor and coached football and softball as well.
