Our mission is to prepare and empower our students to think creatively, serve, contribute and succeed locally and globally.
The District's professional staff consists of more than 100 full time teachers, 50% of whom have advanced degrees. The faculty is complemented by a support staff of skilled individuals.
At the Howard-Winneshiek Community School District, students are the center of everything we do! With the support of our school community, the dedication of our staff and the assistance of many volunteers, we continue to demonstrate excellence in student learning and achievement at all levels.
Howard-Winneshiek Community School District has 3 buildings in our district. Our staff is dedicated to providing excellent educational opportunities from Preschool through 12th grade.
