During the spring of 2019 students in grades 3-11 to part in the new Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress or ISASP. The Iowa Assessments are aligned to the grade level Iowa Core and provide an accurate assessment of student learning. On November 11th the Iowa Department of Education released the results for family and public knowledge. In the upcoming weeks staff and administration will be reviewing our individual student and building results and determining individual and grade level needs along with any adjustments that may need to occur in instruction and/or curriculum.

Winter season is rapidly approaching. The school district understands that the decision that we make to have school open or closed has a big effect on families. The district must make a decision that is best for all students. We understand that our students are better served when they are in school. But the safety of our students and staff will always be our top priority.
